OUR MISSION
To provide a safe place for connection and support where there is wellness and recovery for all

WHO WE ARE
About Us
The Cascade Peer & Self Help Center provides an inclusive and safe environment for individuals receiving treatment through the support of Deschutes County. Our unique environment provides client’s with support from staff who have experienced living with a mental health condition themselves. This connection between staff and clients within the program creates the strong community the Peers Center is today. Attending the Peer Center is free, and participation within the program is reliant on our client’s goals of helping themselves. We provide food, group activities, and support for our client’s in addition to a communal space they can spend their time between, before or sometimes after therapeutic appointments. The direct phone number to setting up an intake appointment with Deschutes County Behavioral Health is 541-322-7500. If you are ready to take the first steps towards recovery from a mental health condition, we are here to support you! Connect with Deschutes County Behavioral Health or The Cascade Peer & Self Help Center today.
OUR PROGRAM
How we support Bend's community

PEER SUPPORT
Clients get daily support from staff who have been through their own mental health struggles and recovery.
COMMUNITY
Clients have the opportunity to connect with other clients to build up their supportive community through groups such as art, mindfulness, and other group activities held at The Peers Center.
ASSISTANCE
We support clients with day to day and long term challenges while they work with their counselors and other treatment team members towards recovery. From sack lunches and showers to connecting clients with housing or treatment options, our clients can trust us to help them get the assistance they need.

”Recovery is not one and done. It is a lifelong journey that takes place one day, one step at a time.”
